American singer Whitney Houston has died at the age of 48, the cause of her death was not immediately known. Six police cars were spotted in front of the Beverly Hilton hotel, where Houston was staying.
Her death came on the eve of the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles and at the same hotel where her mentor, record mogul Clive Davis, was holding an annual pre-event party at which she was scheduled to perform.yahoo.com
