Fall/Winter 2012/2013 Trends Guide

Are you ready to find something of this season trend for your taste?

There are a large number of fashion trends which makes it possible for everyone to find something to her taste.

 Here are my favorite top trends for fall/winter 2012/2013:

 

Gold

The color gold was on the top this season, gold fabric, gold sequins and glitters, it was shining on the runway of Elie-Saab, Michael-Kors, and many other designers’ gold was in their collections for 2012/2013 fall season.

 

Leather

Leather is always a big hit from leather coats, leather skirt, accessories, bags, shoes and belts.  In this season, Fendi, J.W.-Anderson, Jil-Sander, Marni and many other designers reveal their leather wear collection for 2012/2013 fall season.

 

Velvet

Velvet is back in for 2012/2013 fall season, fashion designers from Dolce & Gabbana, Balmain, Gucci, Bottega Veneta and Etro Endorsed it in their collections.

 

Oversize

Designers like Proenza Schouler, Jil Sander, Max Mara and Chloé love big and baggy shapes they have created large oversized Jackets, sweaters, cardigans, tops, coats, trousers, skirts and dresses for 2012/2013 fall season.

  

Pattern

Many designer showcase patterned dresses and suits in their collection. Creative patterns and prints were seen on the of 2012/2013 fall season.

 

Suit up

This season it's all about the pantsuit, whether it's a cropped and flared retro pair or a modern layered ensemble or with prints, designers resurrected the pantsuit for 2012/2013 fall season.

 

Military

A fresh new idea was seen on the runway for this season. Designers such as Burberry Prorsum, Altuzarra, Max-Mara, Salvatore Ferragamo, Victoria Beckham introduced military inspiration in their clothes for their 2012/2013 fall season.

 The Victorian Fashion Era

Victorian lace, shiny silk, noble golden embroideries in the Baroque style, flowery prints and patterns, cloaks, French-style capes and frills adorn. Designers took that in their 2012/2013 fall season.
 

In addition to the above trends

Gothic

Gothic become a big theme during the 2012/2013 fall season.  Black leather and velvet, long silhouettes and scary makeup are just a few characteristics of this style.
Fur
The variety is huge Fur coats, jackets, bags and shoes fur will appear on everything during 2012/2013 fall season.
Knits
Knitted sweaters, dresses and cardigans are perfect for 2012/2013 fall season.
Peplums
Peplums were popular this summer and they will be during this 2012/2013 fall season.
Slim-fit trousers
Designers believe that you can wear them more often during the 2012/2013 fall season.
 

 

And last the most important thing in the fashion world is the Colors.  Colors define, underline and shape each and every collection.  Color is the base of the trend fashion without it fashion would be boring.  This fall/winter 2012/2013 season brings many chic tone and many shades as your see above such as Rich Wine Colors, White Hues, Blue, Violet, Mustard, Pale Pink, chocolate, dark green, neutral tones, shades of red, orange, metallic tones and the king of colors black.
